I’m not a programmer and have no idea how to write one. I’ve used Firefox for many years and use add-ons a lot. Thank you for your efforts, Darren Chaker I like the extensions and security, as well as privacy built into the browser. Have you contacted the developers of Privacy Badger about this? Dont use Firefox much now as it looks like Firefox is wanting me tracked. I want it back to what it was, but it looks like a hidden file in Linux. I also cant scroll down as it blocks me, it looks and acts like a virus– 122d-fd53-4335-8bf4-053289/skin/options.

With your latest update you seem to have broken privacy Badger with a skin that shrinks it right down in the block list and stops me blocking tracking domains by reseting itself back to unblocked on sites I block. I am not convinced many of the add-ons I use can or will be converted to the new system, and without these add-ons, there is no reason for me to stick to Firefox any more. (Take a look at the comments section of the “plans for 2017” article to read many, many reasons). Looks like I’ll be switching to Pale Moon in 2017, then. The automatic compatibility validation and upgrade for add-ons on AMO will happen in a few weeks, so keep an eye on your email if you have an add-on listed on our site with its compatibility set to Firefox 51. If your add-on breaks on Firefox 52, I’d like to know. Let me know in the comments if there’s anything missing or incorrect on these lists.

There are some utility objects there used by older add-ons, like Remove web content access to Battery API.Deprecate and remove CanvasRenderingContext2D.mozDash/mozDashOffset.This change makes CORS requests from add-ons using an expanded principal not work. Crash with Youtube Subtiltle Downloader.A shim was added to preserve compatibility, but it’s temporary. Drag and Drop: DataTransfer.types is wrong type. This replaces the File constructors with the static functions CreateFromFileName and CreateFromNsIFile. The ChromeFilePropertyBag versions of the File constructors are web-observable.

This enables drag and drop of multiple links to the browser area, which includes some changes like replacing browserDragAndDrop.drop with browserDragAndDrop.dropLinks.
